Justin Chang

Justin Chang is a seasoned film critic with extensive experience in the industry, currently serving as a Film Critic for the Los Angeles Times since April 2016. Previously, Justin held multiple roles at Variety from December 2004 to April 2016, including Chief Film Critic and Senior Section Editor/Film Critic, where responsibilities included managing film reviews and coordinating an international team of critics. Earlier in career, Justin worked as a Copy Editor/Film Critic, editing stories and covering significant events in the film industry. Justin began in the field as an intern at the Orange County Register in 2003. Educationally, Justin earned a B.A. in Print Journalism from the University of Southern California in 2004.
