Leila Amar

Leila Amar serves as the Director of Development and Communications at UAE-IL tech zone, managing daily operations, partnership development across the Gulf Cooperation Council and Israel's tech ecosystem, and community engagement initiatives since February 2022. In addition, Leila Amar has been a Senior Reporter for Guiti News, covering migration-related topics collaboratively with French and refugee journalists since February 2019, and a Film Critic for The Independent, reporting on international film festivals and releases since May 2019. Previous experience includes roles as Director of the Cinema Section at I/O Gazette, Strategic Communication Consultant at Merci Max, and Senior Producer at France 24, among others. Leila Amar holds a Bachelor of Arts in European Policy Studies from London South Bank University and a Master's degree in media production from OMNES Education.
