Micah Fluellen

Micah Fluellen is an experienced Features Art Director at the Los Angeles Times since October 2020, where responsibilities include creating illustrations and animations for various sections and contributing to the @latimesplants Instagram account. Prior to this role, Micah completed an internship at the same organization, focusing on design and illustration for the features sections while also engaging with social media. Experience includes being a Junior Motion Designer at WOUB Public Media, where Micah developed animations and graphics for broadcasts, and working as a Programming Operations and Promotions Intern at C-SPAN, contributing to quality programming. Additionally, a Visual Communication Intern role at Athletes United for Social Justice involved crafting visual stories to promote healthy lifestyles among youth. Micah holds a Bachelor's degree in Interactive Design from Ohio University, completed in 2020.
