Carla Lavelle Trinh

Carla Lavelle Trinh, LCSW, PPSC, has been serving in various roles within the Los Angeles Unified School District since 2007, currently holding the position of Interim Director of Student Health and Human Services. In this role, Carla provides leadership aligned with strategic plans and advises on initiatives that enhance key performance indicators. Previous positions include Student Health and Human Services Coordinator and multiple roles as a Psychiatric Social Worker, contributing to the expansion of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and leading professional development focused on trauma-informed practices. Concurrently, Carla has been a Mental Health Consultant at Efficacy Resources since 2004, facilitating successful internships for MSW students and fostering effective learning environments. Additionally, Carla served as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Southern California, where guidance and supervision were provided to graduate students in clinical practices. Carla holds two Master of Social Work degrees from the University of Southern California, obtained between 1998 and 2007.
