Lauren Alba

Lauren Alba has a strong background in communications and marketing. Lauren currently holds the position of Director of Executive Communications at Los Angeles World Airports. Prior to this, they worked for the City of Los Angeles as the Director of Communications for L.A. Controller Ron Galperin. In this role, they led all communication efforts to enhance public awareness of the Controller's Office. Lauren also served as the Deputy Director of Communications for the same office, where they developed and implemented strategic communication plans and managed content for various platforms. Before that, they worked as a Public Relations Specialist for the Department of City Planning, where they managed comprehensive communication programs and launched the department's social media presence. Lauren also has experience as a Communications Manager for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and a Project Coordinator for the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work. Lauren began their career as a Marketing and Communications Intern for the Gasol Foundation and worked briefly as a Market Research Analyst for the Sport Management Research Institute.

Lauren Alba holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology from UC Irvine. Lauren also has a Master's Degree in Communication Management from the University of Southern California.
