Sarah Welch Cifarelli

Director, LAX Art Program at Los Angeles World Airports

Sarah Welch Cifarelli has extensive experience in managing and coordinating art programs and projects. Sarah has worked as the Director of the LAX Art Program at Los Angeles World Airports, where they oversaw the Arts Exhibition Program and managed projects commissioned through the Public Art Program. Prior to that, they served as the Thesis Coordinator at the University of Southern California, Public Art Studies Program, assisting graduate students with their theses. Sarah also worked as the Public Art Manager at the City of Los Angeles, Department of Cultural Affairs, managing multiple public art projects and coordinating temporary exhibitions and installations at airports. Sarah has also worked at M. Goodwin Associates as a Project Associate and at Walt Disney Imagineering as an Exhibit Development Coordinator. Overall, Sarah has a strong background in art program management and coordination.

Sarah Welch Cifarelli earned a B.A./B.A. degree in Art History and English Literature from the University of Colorado Boulder from 1987 to 1991. Sarah later obtained an MPAS degree in Public Art Studies from the University of Southern California between 1996 and 1999.
