Brett Sawyer

Brett Sawyer serves as the President Elect of CCCSAA, a statewide professional association for California Community College student affairs leaders, focusing on enhancing student success and equity initiatives. Currently a Student Life Supervisor at Los Rios Community College District, Brett advises the Associated Student Body and manages budgets for student representation. Previous roles include Student Personnel Assistant at American River College, where coordination of a Community and Diversity Center took place, and Associate Athletic Director at Elk Grove Unified School District, overseeing the wellbeing of nearly 600 student-athletes. Brett's teaching background spans multiple school districts, emphasizing curriculum development for diverse, at-risk populations. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Education and a Bachelor's Degree in History, both from UC Santa Barbara.
