Gabriella Sherman

Gabriella Sherman, MD, MBA has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Currently, they serve as the Chief Medical Officer at Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center, a position they have held since April 2020. Before this, they worked at Huntington Hospital, where they held various leadership roles. From April 2019 to April 2020, they were the Vice President of Quality & Clinical Operations, overseeing the quality management and performance improvement program. Prior to that, from June 2016 to March 2019, they served as the Vice President of Clinical Innovation & Performance Improvement, where they developed processes and infrastructure to support bundled payments and designed the Perioperative Surgical Home program. Additionally, they also worked as the Associate Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program from July 2015 to January 2019, and as the Physician Advisor for Clinical Documentation Improvement from July 2014 to June 2016. Before their time at Huntington Hospital, they worked as an Internal Medicine Physician from June 2010 to June 2016. Alongside their hospital roles, they also served as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Southern California from July 2013 to April 2020.

Gabriella Sherman, MD, MBA completed their education with a Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, in Biology, Spanish, and Chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University. Gabriella then went on to earn their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. Gabriella further pursued their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Wharton School. In addition to their degrees, they also obtained certifications in Clinical Informatics from the American Board of Preventive Medicine (ABPM) and in becoming a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. It is not specified if they obtained a certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine. Gabriella also completed an Executive Leadership Coach program at the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley.
