Tim Kowalski

Tim Kowalski is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property law. Since September 2012, Tim has served as Senior Counsel and Head of Patent Transactions at Google. Tim also holds leadership positions as Chair of the Board of Directors and Member of the Board of Directors at LOT Network and Open Invention Network, respectively, since February 2014 and May 2016. Prior experience includes roles as Lead Intellectual Property Counsel at Motorola Mobility LLC and Motorola Solutions from 2004 to 2012, and as an Associate at Jenkens & Gilchrist and Arnold, White & Durkee from 1999 to 2004. Tim earned a Doctor of Law (JD), cum laude, from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
