Josh Chaiton

Josh Chaiton is currently working at Lotic.ai, Inc. as the Sr. Director of Content, a position they have held since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at SJC as an Executive Producer from February 2022 to March 2023. From November 2018 to March 2022, they served as the Director + Producer at both The Deli and Unreasonable Studios - Toronto. Before that, from May 2012 to October 2018, they worked at TOUCHPOINT Films as the Director + Executive Producer. Josh also has previous experience as a Management Consultant at jetAVIVA, Like the Pros!, and iFly from 2011 to 2012, 2008 to 2009, and 2002 to 2006 respectively. Additionally, they worked as an Executive Producer at Reel Images from September 1996 to October 2002 and as a Management Consultant (Media & Entertainment) at Cyberplex from February 2000 to June 2001.

Josh Chaiton has a diverse education history. Josh obtained a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) degree in Producing from The American Film Institute, where they studied from 1996 to 1999. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Film & Video Production from York University between 1992 and 1996. Additionally, they pursued studies in Film/Cinema/Video Studies at UCLA in 1995.

In addition to their academic achievements, Josh Chaiton has also obtained several certifications. These include UAS Commercial Drone Pilot (Part 107) from the Federal Aviation Administration, which they received in October 2018. Josh also holds an Instrument Rating from the Federal Aviation Administration obtained in November 2006. Furthermore, they have obtained certifications such as Command Pilot (Emergency Services) from Angel Flight West in October 2005, Private Aircraft Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration in October 2001, Offshore Cruising Standard from Sail Canada | Voile Canada in October 1996, and Advanced Cruising Standard from Sail Canada | Voile Canada in October 1994. Lastly, they obtained an Open Water Diver certification from PADI in December 1989.
