William (Bill) Welser IV

Bill Welser IV has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. William (Bill) is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of Lotic.ai, Inc., a position they have held since May 2020. Prior to this, Bill worked at RAND Corporation, where they served as a Senior Management Scientist, Co-Director of the RAND Impact Lab, Director of the Engineering and Applied Sciences Department, and a mentor to professional research staff members. William (Bill) also had a role as Chief Technology Officer and Chief of Labs at Nano from April 2019 to January 2020. Before that, they were a Partner, Technologist, Speaker, and Author at ReD Associates, where they focused on researching and addressing challenges related to technology design, adoption, and complexity. Bill's career also includes serving as an Officer in the USAF from 2000 to 2007. Throughout their career, they have contributed to various research publications and has expertise in areas such as AI, machine learning, data science, privacy, cryptography, and industrial ecosystems.

Bill Welser IV completed their bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia, which spanned from 1996 to 2000. William (Bill) then pursued higher education at the Boston College Carroll School of Management, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree between 2005 and 2007. Additionally, during the same period, from 2006 to 2007, they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Finance, also from Boston College Carroll School of Management.
