Annelies Santens has had an extensive work experience in the finance and audit field. Annelies started their career at PwC as a Manager in 2004 and worked there until 2012. In 2012, they joined Lotus Bakeries as a Group Controller and held this role until 2014. Annelies then moved to Koninklijke Peijnenburg BV and worked as the Director of Finance & HR from 2014 to 2017. After that, Annelies returned to Lotus Bakeries and took on the role of Finance Director for the Business Unit Natural Foods from 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Treasury, Internal Audit and Risk Management, since mid-2020.
Annelies Santens completed their secondary education at Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-Hemelvaart Instituut Waregem, specializing in Economics and Modern Languages. Annelies then pursued a degree in Applied Economic Sciences at Ghent University from 2000 to 2004.
