Bart Bauwens

Bart Bauwens is an experienced engineering manager currently with Lotus Bakeries since January 2023, and co-founder of Bauwens-CNC since October 2016, specializing in the design and manufacturing of custom products using CNC technology. Prior to these roles, Bart served as Senior Superintendent of Vessel Construction at Jan De Nul Group from 2016 to January 2023, overseeing projects from design to delivery of dredging and offshore installation equipment. Bart's background includes positions in marine design engineering and naval architecture, along with a focus on engineering for various offshore and dredging projects. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Electromechanical Engineering with a concentration in Maritime Engineering from Ghent University, and additional studies in Industrial Engineering.
