Operations Director Mebane at Lotus

Dries Mermuys began their work experience at Balta in 2001 as an Assistant Quality Manager/Assistant Production Manager. Dries then moved on to Fuji Oil Europe in 2004, where they held roles as a Process Engineer and later as a Production Manager. In 2010, they joined Imperial Meat Products as a Plant Manager and stayed until 2013. From 2013 to 2021, Dries worked at Biscuiterie Willems as a Plant Manager. Currently, they are the Operations Director at Lotus Bakeries starting in July 2021.

Dries Mermuys holds an executive MBA from Vlerick Business School, which they obtained between 2008 and 2010. Prior to that, they completed their General Training Informatics degree at Ghent University from 2000 to 2001. Dries also holds a bachelor's degree, bior-ir scheikunde, in the field of Verbond Bio-ingenieurswetenschappen Gent, which they earned from Ghent University between 1995 and 2000.
