Eddy Thijs

Eddy Thijs is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the food production sector, currently serving as the Manager Global Biscoff Engineering at Lotus Bakeries since July 1985. Eddy has also held roles as Manager Engineering Services Equipment and Automation and Technical Manager during tenure at Lotus Bakeries. Prior experience includes a position as Methode Ingenieur at Volvo Cars Gent from August 1983 to July 1985, focusing on pre-production and production techniques. Eddy holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering Electricity from Hogeschool PXL, as well as a level 2 Preventieadviseur qualification from SBM and a Master's degree in Maintenance Management from Vlaamse Ingenieurskamer.
