Els Rutsaert has a diverse work experience, primarily in the food industry. Els has worked at Lotus Bakeries since 2015, starting as a Corporate QA Manager and eventually becoming the Corporate QA Director in June 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Imperial Meat Products, where they held various positions including QA/Food Safety Manager from November 2010 to May 2015, NPD Manager from January 2009 to November 2010, and Group Product Manager from July 2006 to December 2008. Els also has experience as a Brand Manager, Product Manager, and Quality Engineer during their time at Imperial Meat Products.
Els Rutsaert completed their Master in Marketing Management (SLM) from Vlerick Business School in 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Bio-ingenieur Scheikunde with a specialization in Food Microbiology from Ghent University in 2001.
