Tim de Baets

Tim De Baets is an experienced procurement professional with a strong background in strategic sourcing and packaging management. Currently serving as Corporate Procurement Manager Packaging at Lotus Bakeries since June 2018, Tim is responsible for the procurement of packaging materials for multiple European production sites and oversees outsourcing operations. Previously, Tim held the position of International Strategic Buyer at Alpro from September 2012 to June 2018, managing the procurement of packaging materials across three production sites. Tim’s career began at GroenLicht.be as an Editor, where responsibilities included maintaining PR contacts and writing car reviews. Tim holds a Master’s degree in Commercial Engineering from Ghent University and a Wetenschappen-Wiskunde 8 degree from Sint-Barbara College.
