Mario Rodriguez Batalle

Mario Rodriguez Batalle has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Mario started their career as an intern at Laboratorios Saval in 2010 and later became a Q.F. Encargado de Transferencia Tecnológica, where they were responsible for planning and programming production process transfers.

In 2013, they moved to Corporación Farmacéutica Recalcine as a Supervisor de Transferencia Tecnológica y Escalamiento Industrial. In this role, they planned and scheduled production process transfers and validated and scaled up processes.

From 2014 to 2019, Mario worked at Synthon, where they held various roles. Mario started as a Project Leader of Technology & Process Development and High Containment Plant, leading technology transfers and GMP implementation. Mario then became the Coordinator, responsible for planning and coordinating projects in the solids production area and high containment plant. Later, they were promoted to Head of Technology & Process Development and High Containment Plant, leading and planning activities for multiple projects. Lastly, they served as the Head of Manufacturing, overseeing all aspects of manufacturing activities for the solids plant and high containment plant.

In 2020, Mario joined Laboratorio Chile | Teva as an MS&T Specialist III. Mario improved process efficiency and led process improvement activities and manufacturing capacity increase projects. Mario also ensured compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements. In 2022, they transitioned to the role of Project Manager III, where they managed site transfer and new product launch projects, as well as alternate API and supplier changes projects.

Most recently, Mario joined Lotus Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd in 2022 as a Third Party Products, CMO Manager (R&D).

Overall, Mario has a strong background in project management, process optimization, and compliance in the pharmaceutical industry.

Mario Rodriguez Batalle attended Universidad de Chile from 2005 to 2010, where they earned a degree in Químico Farmacéutico in the field of Ciencias y Tecnología Farmacéutica. In 2011, they completed a diploma in "Quality Management & Desarrollo Organizacional" and a course in "Auditor Líder en Sistemas de Gestión de Calidad ISO 9001:2008" from the same university. In 2012, Mario attended Tronwell Institute to study English at an advanced level. In 2021, they obtained certification as a Black Belt Lean Six Sigma from STAD Arquitectura Empresarial Limitada.
