Jason Garman

Jason Garman serves as the Principal Security Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS) since July 2022, while also contributing as a member of the Board of Trustees at Loudoun Country Day School and acting as Technical Amicus to the U.S. FISA Court since October 2021. As President of The Garman Group, LLC, Garman provides cybersecurity consulting services. Previously, Garman co-founded Kyrus Tech, playing a key role in the company's development and technical achievements. Notable past positions include Enterprise Architect and Director of Developer Relations at VMware Carbon Black, where Garman led significant integration strategies, and co-founder of Red Canary, which launched an innovative Threat Detection Engine. Early career experience includes roles as a Principal Computer Forensic Engineer at ManTech International Corporation and Mandiant, where Garman handled high-profile incident responses and developed training materials. Garman holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
