Kristen Elmer

Kristen Elmer is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in financial management and reporting within Loudoun County Government since 1997. Currently serving as Accounting Manager, Kristen oversees the preparation and publication of the Annual Financial Comprehensive Report, coordinates annual financial audits, and manages various accounting teams including grant accounting and capital project accounting. Previously, Kristen held roles such as Functional Systems Manager, providing support for Oracle Applications R12, and Financial Analyst. With a Master of Business Administration from Hood College and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business/Management from Shepherd University, Kristen possesses a strong educational foundation to complement a robust career in public sector finance.
