Second Lieutenant - Shift Commander - Field Operations Division at Loudoun County Sheriff's Office

Samantha Harwood has extensive law enforcement experience, currently serving as a Sergeant in the School Resource Officer Unit at Loudoun County Sheriff's Office since August 2006, supervising a team of 10 officers across 27 schools. Previously, Samantha held roles such as Eastern Loudoun Station Sergeant and Field Operations Sergeant, leading investigations and managing patrol operations. In addition to responsibilities at the Sheriff's Office, Samantha serves as a Bomb Squad EOD Technician and Assistant Bomb Squad Commander for Loudoun County, and is a Law Enforcement IMA Flight Chief with the US Air Force Reserve since August 2008, overseeing force protection duties. Samantha's military background includes multiple roles within the United States Air Force Security Forces, providing law enforcement and security operations. Samantha holds an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from the Community College of the Air Force and is furthering education at the University of Maryland Global Campus.
