James Peters

James Peters is an accomplished rugby coach with extensive experience in various roles within the sport. Currently serving as the Rugby Coach - Assessor at Loughborough College, James leads the Attack & Backs for the college rugby programme and manages the rugby programme, delivering the DISE course to learners. At Loughborough University, James holds multiple positions including Women’s Rugby Attack & Backs Lead and Performance Coach, specializing as the National 2 Attack & Backs Coach. James has also worked as the Development Head Coach, aligning the rugby pathway at Loughborough University. Additional roles include Head Coach for Scimitar Storm 7s, Senior Team Coach at Burton Rugby Football Club Ltd., and Rugby Coach for Midlands 20s. James co-founded a coaching podcast and has held various coaching positions at West Bridgford RFC and Rugby All-Stars. Educated with an MSc in Elite Sport Performance from Dublin City University and a degree in Sport Science & Coaching from Nottingham Trent University, James also holds RFU Level 2 Coaching and Officiating qualifications.
