Francesco Kessler

Francesco Kessler has extensive experience in trading and finance, currently serving as the Europe veg-oil and biodiesel trading manager at Louis Dreyfus Company since September 2016, with additional roles in EU biodiesel and vegoil trading, as well as tropical oils trading. Responsibilities include managing tropical oils, biodiesel, glycerin, and lecithin, along with involvement in fertilizers through the origination and sales processes in West Africa, and contributions to logistics and contract negotiation. Francesco also has a background in cotton and coffee trading, having worked as an agricultural derivatives broker assistant at BGC Partners and as a derivatives sales assistant at Exane. Earlier internships at UniCredit Bank Austria AG and BSI S.A. focused on global securities services, data governance, and compliance. Francesco holds a Master of Science in Financial Markets and Investment from SKEMA Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
