Vijay Chakravarthy

Vijay Chakravarthy has extensive experience in risk management and internal audit across various financial institutions. Vijay is currently working as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Louis Dreyfus Company. Prior to that, they served as the Global Head of Risk Management & Internal Audit at ED&F Man Holdings, where they were responsible for overseeing credit, market, liquidity, operational, and cybersecurity risks in commodity trading and futures commission merchant/broker dealer. Vijay also led internal audit activities and implemented IT transformation programs. Before joining ED&F Man Holdings, Vijay worked as a Senior Risk Manager at Standard Chartered Bank, focusing on commodities trading. Vijay also held positions at Barclays Capital and Deutsche Bank, where they specialized in financial risk management and capital management.

Vijay Chakravarthy obtained an MBA in Finance from the London Business School from 2001 to 2003. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1996, they earned a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
