Jan Trunec

Jan Trunec has a robust background in quality control within the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Supervisor QC Analytik at Ophtapharm AG since July 2024. Previously, Jan has held the position of Head of Quality Control at Louis Widmer SA since February 2009, where responsibilities included leading the quality control team, managing the release of significant quantities of raw materials and finished products in accordance with GMP guidelines, and overseeing ongoing stability studies. Prior roles include quality control management at Parcopharm SA and experience as a chemist at various companies, focusing on method development and validation, particularly using HPLC. Jan holds qualifications in quality and process management, commercial education, and has an apprenticeship as a chemist.
