Tisha White

Tisha White, CMA, has a diverse work experience in finance, administration, accounting, and web development. Tisha has held various roles throughout their career, starting as a Web Developer at White's Consulting from 1999 to 2006. Tisha then transitioned to Cyrious Software, Inc., where they worked as a Bookkeeper and later became a Program Manager from 2004 to 2015. Following that, Tisha served as the Director of Accounting at the Louisiana Dental Association from 2015 to 2021. Tisha then joined the Louisiana Chemical Association as the Director of Finance, Admin, and HR in November 2021, where they are currently employed. Additionally, Tisha will take on the role of Board Treasurer at the You Aren't Alone Project starting in October 2023. Tisha's diverse background and skillset make their a valuable asset in their field.

Tisha White, CMA, has a diverse education history. In 1992, they completed their high school education at Denham Springs High School. Tisha later pursued accounting, obtaining an Accounting Specialist Certificate from LSU Continuing Education in 2009. In 2017-2018, they further expanded their knowledge by completing a Non-Profit Management Certification from LSU Continuing Education. Tisha then pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Western Governors University in 2022. Following their degree, they obtained the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation from the Institute of Management Accountants in 2023. Additionally, they have several additional certifications, including the Certified Bookkeeper designation from AIPB in 2014. Tisha's commitment to continuous learning is evident through their various certifications and educational pursuits.
