Ben Lemoine

Ben Lemoine is an experienced professional in communications, media production, and governmental relations. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Governmental Relations for the Louisiana Department of Education since February 2024, Ben shapes education policy and advocates for LDOE's interests. Prior roles include Director of Communications and Public Relations for the East Baton Rouge Parish School System and Owner/Founder of Fleurish Creative, where extensive work in political media consulting and commercial video production was conducted. Previous experience includes significant media roles at Merz North America, KTVK 3TV Phoenix, WWL-TV, and WBRZ-TV, with a strong background in crisis management, media engagement, and community relations. Ben holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Louisiana State University.
