Kimberly Hamilton-Wims, Ph.D., is an experienced environmental scientist with a robust background in both academic and practical applications of chemistry. Currently serving as an Environmental Scientist Manager at the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality since September 2016, Kimberly has also held roles as Environmental Scientist Supervisor and Environmental Scientist within the same organization. Previous experience includes teaching faculty positions at Northwest Mississippi Community College from August 2003 to September 2016, and various laboratory technician roles at organizations such as Honeywell, Syngenta, Entek Environmental Laboratory, and an internship with the North Central Texas Council of Governments. Kimberly earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge.
