Robin Porter

Robin Porter is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Executive Counsel at Louisiana Economic Development since July 2018, with previous roles including Interim Executive Counsel and Staff Attorney. Prior to this, Robin held the position of Deputy General Counsel at Louisiana Economic Development. Robin's earlier experience includes serving as In House Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at GMFS Mortgage, and as an Attorney at Law at Campbells Law Firm. Additionally, Robin has extensive experience in the mortgage and financial sectors, having worked as Executive VP/Managing Partner and Vice President/Managing Attorney at a Regional Mortgage Banking Law Firm, and as Vice President - General Counsel at United Companies Financial Corporation. Robin began a legal career at United Companies Lending Corporation as Vice President - Mortgage Servicing Counsel. Robin holds a Juris Doctor degree from Southern University Law Center and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology/Microbiology from Louisiana State University.
