Michel Hanet has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Michel started their career at The Chase Manhattan Bank in 1986, where they served as Vice President of Information Systems, leading software development groups for the bank's trading floors worldwide. In 1997, they joined Prudential Financial as Vice President of Information Systems, where they headed software development groups supporting various corporate functions. In 2002, they became the Chief Information Officer of Prudential Real Estate & Relocation, setting the technical direction for the subsidiary and implementing cost-saving measures. Additionally, from 2005 to 2010, Hanet owned and operated VanDenBosch Doors, a construction contracting company specializing in high-end custom doors and windows. Michel then joined Amedisys in 2011 as the BI Business Systems Manager, where they managed the implementation of a Sales Force Automation and Customer Relationship Management system and led a Business Intelligence team responsible for building the Enterprise Data Warehouse. In 2015, they joined Sparkhound as a Client Program Manager, responsible for overseeing multiple engagements with corporate clients, managing international projects, providing fractional CIO services, and architecting Business Intelligence and Data Analysis initiatives for Healthcare and Insurance companies. Finally, in 2018, Hanet joined Louisiana Healthcare Connections as the Director of Reporting and Business Analytics.

Michel Hanet completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Quantitative Business Analyzes from Louisiana State University between 1984 and 1986. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Ghent University, where they studied from 1979 to 1984. In addition to their educational background, Michel also obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in December 2011.
