LOUISIANA KEY ACADEMY
Andromeda Love Cartwright, M.A., CCC-SLP, CALT has a diverse work experience in the education and library sectors. Andromeda Love started their career in 2010 as a Library Technician in the East Baton Rouge Parish Library System. In 2014, they became a Speech Language Pathologist and Dyslexia Specialist at Louisiana Key Academy, a role they held until 2018. Andromeda Love then transitioned to a leadership position at Louisiana Key Academy, first as a Special Education Coordinator from 2018 to 2022, then as the Special Education Director from 2022 to 2023. Currently, Andromeda serves as the Chief Academic Officer at Louisiana Key Academy.
Andromeda Love Cartwright, M.A., CCC-SLP, CALT completed their Bachelor's degree in English at Louisiana State University from 2006 to 2010. Andromeda Love then pursued a Master's degree in Communication Disorders at the same university, studying from 2011 to 2014.

LKA serves the 1 in 5 children with Dyslexia in Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas. Our teachers are trained to teach students with dyslexia to read and write as fluently and as close to grade level as possible. LKA teaches students math reasoning and provides hands on experiences in Science, Social Studies, Art, Drama, Engineering, and Physical Education. LKA makes this a priority through a commitment to teacher development in the science of dyslexia and a commitment to developing a loving community for students, parents, and staff.
