Michelle Schouest

Michelle Schouest, RN, BSN, currently serves as the Director of Training and Development at the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency since January 2025, and has held various roles at LOPA since January 2018, including Environmental and Safety Coordinator and Director of Quality. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Patient Safety Consultant at LHA Trust Funds from October 2016 to January 2018 and as RN Clinical Operations Coordinator at Ochsner Health System from 2015 to October 2016. Michelle began their career as Director of Quality at Fairway Medical Center, where tenure lasted from August 2005 to October 2015. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Our Lady of Holy Cross College, obtained from 1985 to 1989.
