Matthew Carrington is a skilled violist with extensive experience in both orchestral and freelance settings. Since August 2012, Matthew has been a member of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, where prior involvement also occurred from August 2008 to May 2009. Between these positions, Matthew worked as a freelance musician from December 2009 to September 2012. Matthew's formative experience includes a tenure at the New World Symphony from September 2006 to May 2008. Academically, Matthew holds degrees from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and Indiana University Bloomington, where studies took place from 1998 to 2006.
