Erica Johnson

Erica Johnson is the Associate Director at Louisiana Public Health Institute. Erica has over ten years of experience in public health administration and management. Erica began their career as an AmeriCorps VISTA Capacity Building Coordinator with the Corporation for National and Community Service. Erica then went on to work as the Manager of Program Administration and Special Projects for the National Network of Public Health Institutes. In their most recent position, they served as the Business Manager for LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of the department's business office, advising department leadership on university, center, and school policies and procedures, and coordinating with Human Resources on all matters related to recruitment and retention of departmental faculty and staff.

Erica Johnson has a MA in International Relations from Syracuse University - Maxwell School and a BA in Anthropology, American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
