Derrell Williams

Derrell Williams is a seasoned law enforcement professional with extensive experience in the Louisiana State Police, serving since February 2010 as a Major and Command Inspector of Internal Affairs. Prior to this role, Derrell held the position of Lieutenant as a Shift Lieutenant. Derrell's law enforcement career began at the Thibodaux Police Department as a Patrolman from March 1990 to June 1995, followed by a tenure at the Louisiana State Police from June 1995 to 2009, where Derrell served as a Sergeant and Cadet Class Coordinator. Additionally, Derrell served in the United States Army as a Staff Sergeant from June 1986 to March 1990. Education was pursued at Nicholls State University.
