Corey Polk

Corey Polk is an experienced accounting and compliance professional with a diverse background in supervisory roles across various organizations. Currently serving as ORS Supervisor at the Louisiana Workforce Commission since February 2020, Corey oversees the Recon Team and has previously worked as an ORS Specialist, reviewing unemployment reconciliations statewide. Prior experience includes roles such as Revenue Accountant at BREC, Case Manager for Disaster Recovery at the Urban League of Greater New Orleans, and Project Accountant at Chicago Bridge & Iron - Capital Services. Corey possesses strong leadership skills, extensive experience in auditing, budgeting, and compliance, and is proficient in Excel functions. Corey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge.
