Louisville Ballet
Ashley Kern is a seasoned artist with extensive experience in dance and related fields. Currently an artist with Louisville Ballet since August 2008, Ashley performs classical and contemporary works and has participated in numerous large-scale performances. Additionally, Ashley serves as a producer for Movement in Movies, exploring the intersection of movement and technology, and is a certified Pilates instructor at Core Fluency Pilates, focusing on individualized approaches to Pilates practice. Past roles include guest instructor at Brandon Ballet Inc., artist-in-residence at Louisville Free Public Library, and dance supervisor for the Actors Theatre of Louisville. With a BSOF in Ballet and Journalism from Indiana University Bloomington, Ashley has developed a diverse portfolio encompassing performance, teaching, and community engagement initiatives.
