Declan Doherty

Declan Doherty is an experienced professional in sports coaching and performance analysis, currently serving as a Coach Analyst at Penn State University since June 2024. Previously, Declan held the position of Performance Analyst and Coach at University of Louisville Athletics since May 2019, and has been involved with Louisville City FC as an Academy Coach/Analyst and Assistant Director of Coaching for both LouCity and Racing Academy since September 2020. Earlier coaching roles include Assistant Coach for Women’s Soccer at the University of Evansville and Assistant Coach for Men’s Soccer at University at Buffalo. Declan's background also includes a tenure as Marketing Director and Soccer Coach at Global Premier Soccer New York. Declan's education encompasses an Executive MBA from the University of the Cumberlands, a Master’s degree in Sport and Fitness Administration from the University of Louisville, and a degree in Sport and Exercise Science from Ulster University. Additionally, Declan contributed to HBO as a Standby Prop Assistant for Game of Thrones.
