Larry Horn

Larry Horn is the current Executive Director at Louisville LEAP. Larry has also been the Director - Ecosystem Development - Louisville at Techstars from August 2019 to December 2019. Larry's mission is to build a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem in Louisville.

Before their work at Techstars, Larry was the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Liberate Medical, LLC from January 2013 to December 2013. Liberate Medical's mission is to improve the quality and reduce the cost of care for patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). The company was successfully sold in December 2013.

Larry's responsibilities as chief operating officer included forming business development and investment strategies, developing financial modeling and analysis, developing regulatory and reimbursement strategies for FDA medical device clearance, assisting in establishing technical product development and supply chain sourcing, leading customer-focused interviews of all stakeholders in the value chain, and assisting in fundraising activities; including slide deck creation and pitch enhancements.

Larry Horn has a MBA in Entrepreneurship from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Louisville.
