Maria Brown

Maria Brown is an experienced professional in financial administration and event planning, currently serving as a Payroll Administrator at Louisville MSD since November 2022. As the Creator and CEO of Now's the Time Events since June 2019, Maria provides a results-oriented event planning service. Previously, Maria held roles such as Senior Payroll Office Accountant at Turner Construction Company and Buyer Senior at the University of Louisville, where expertise in procurement and contracting was applied across multiple campuses. Additional experience includes serving as a Budget and Policy Analyst for the Commonwealth of Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services and as an Internal Policy Analyst for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Maria began their career at the Kentucky Department of Revenue as a Senior Administrative Specialist. Maria's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and Development from the University of Louisville, along with degrees from Northern Kentucky University and Blue Grass Community and Technical College Systems.
