Bishop Varnell

Bishop Varnell is an experienced Automation Engineer currently working at Loupe since November 2022. Previously, Bishop held the position of Staff Systems Engineer at iAutomation from March 2019 to November 2022, where responsibilities included programming PLCs for OEM machine builders and end-users utilizing B&R controls, as well as managing complex multi-axis servo motion and various communication protocols. Earlier in 2015, Bishop served as a Process Development Intern at Freudenberg-NOK, providing support for new product launches and implementing Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma tools. Bishop earned a Master’s Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University.
