Steve Diaz

Steve Diaz has over 20 years of experience in the waste management industry. Steve is currently the Senior Vice President at Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc., where they are responsible for directing material management solutions for new and existing customers. Prior to this role, Steve held various positions at Covanta, including Vice President - Sales, Vice President - Northeast Region, Domestic Controller, Director of Corporate Business Management/Mergers & Acquisitions, and Asset/Business Manager. In these roles, they oversaw a national sales team, managed regional asset/business managers, directed regional controllers and accountants, and led M&A activities. Steve has a strong background in P&L performance, safety, environmental compliance, client negotiations, budgeting, and strategic planning.

Steve Diaz has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from the University of Bridgeport. Steve also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting and Finance from the same university.
