James Cadbury

Founder & CEO at Love Cocoa

James Cadbury has held various roles in the finance and entrepreneurial industries. In 2009 and 2010, they worked as an Analyst for Deutsche Bank and Barclays Investment Bank, respectively. In 2012, they joined Universities Superannuation Scheme (Ltd) as a Multi-Asset Execution Trader, where they implemented and executed trades on behalf of the UK's largest pension scheme. James also managed a team of four and covered products ranging from listed equities to private equity. In 2016, they founded Love Cocoa, a company that aims to make British chocolate great again and combat problems within the cocoa industry. In 2019, they became Co-Founder and Non-exec of Kind Bag, a company that recycles plastic bottles into sustainable bags. In 2020, they founded HiP, a company that produces oat milk chocolate.

James Cadbury attended OSH, followed by the University of Liverpool from 2003 to 2007, and then Liverpool John Moores University from 2007 to 2008, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Commercial Property Management / Real Estate.
