Benjamin Remo has extensive work experience in the field of cardiology and electrophysiology. Benjamin currently works at Lovelace Health System as an Electrophysiologist/Integrative Cardiologist and Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation Services. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Electrophysiology/Cardiologist at University of Maryland Shore Medical Group. Benjamin also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed their fellowship in Electrophysiology there. Earlier in their career, they were a Cardiology Fellow at NYU Langone Medical Center and completed their residency in Internal Medicine.
Benjamin Remo has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biology from The Johns Hopkins University. Benjamin then went on to pursue a Doctor of Medicine (MD) at The University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. Following that, they completed the Internal Medicine Residency Program and Cardiovascular Disease Residency Program at NYU School of Medicine, Sackler Institute of Graduate Biomedical Sciences from 2005 to 2008. Benjamin then joined the University of Maryland School of Medicine for the Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Residency Program from 2012 to 2014. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona, Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, expected to be completed in 2023.
