Leah Buley has an extensive work experience in the fields of user research, design consulting, and user experience. Leah is currently working as the Sr. Director of Consumer Insights & User Research at Lovevery. Prior to that, Leah has held positions such as Sr. Director of User Research and Director of User Research at Lovevery, and they were an Independent Research & Design Consultant at Leah Buley Co. from 2016 to 2021. Leah also worked as the VP of User Experience at Publicis Sapient in 2019 and as the Director of Design Education at InVision from 2018 to 2019. Leah has also served as the O'Reilly Design Conference Co-Chair at O'Reilly Media in 2016 and as a Principal Analyst at Forrester from 2014 to 2016. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Design Strategist at Intuit from 2011 to 2014 and as an Experience Designer at Adaptive Path from 2007 to 2011. Leah started their career as a User Interface Designer at Barclays Global Investors.
Leah Buley pursued their education at Barnard College, where they earned their BA in American Studies from 1995 to 1999. Following that, they attended San Jose State University from 2002 to 2004, obtaining their MLIS degree in Information Architecture.
