Marco Verspuij

Marco Verspuij is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as Director and Head of Origination at Danske Commodities since August 2019, Marco also holds a position in Electricity and Low Carbon Business Development at Equinor since May 2018. Previous roles include significant leadership positions at Statoil from May 2010 to September 2017, where responsibilities encompassed Head of Marketing Liquids and Head of Natural Gas Marketing for Belgium and the Netherlands, along with the role of Sales Manager. Earlier experience includes serving as Value Stream Manager at Primagaz Nederland B.V. and Director Comercial at Primagaz Energia s.a., as well as Sales Manager for Bulk at Primagaz Nederland B.V. from January 2002 to July 2005.
