Jim DeFrancia

President, Community Development at Lowe

Jim oversees community development management and advisory services for mixed-use properties and planned communities in the U.S. and abroad, currently focusing on Rocky Mountain area projects. He has served as a Court-appointed Receiver for troubled real estate domestically and internationally and is a licensed real estate broker in Virginia and Colorado. A Life Trustee and former Vice Chairman of ULI, a past National Director of the National Association of Homebuilders, and a former Director of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, Jim served as an advisor to the Secretary of the Navy and to the Secretary of Defense on military housing, energy use, and other real estate matters.
