Anthony Pergola

Anthony Pergola is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the venture capital and startup sectors. Since 1995, Anthony has served as Partner and Vice Chair of the Tech Group at Lowenstein Sandler LLP, a national law firm. Additionally, since February 2021, Anthony has been a Partner at First Close Partners, focusing on supporting venture funds led by underrepresented managers. In January 2006, Anthony founded GrapeArborVC, a seed and angel stage investment group that has invested in over three dozen companies. Previously, from September 2009 to February 2021, Anthony acted as an Advisor for First Growth Venture Network, aiding early-stage tech businesses. Anthony was also a Founding Board Member of AngelVineVC from January 2001 to February 2021. Anthony holds a JD from Harvard Law School and a BA in Political Science/History from Saint Peter's University, along with executive education in Leadership in Law Firms from Harvard Law School.
