Jim Horne

Jim Horne has an extensive work history in the lending and mortgage industry. Jim currently holds the position of VP of Lending at Lower, starting in September 2023. Prior to this, Jim worked at Carrington Mortgage Services, LLC from 2015 to 2022, where they held various roles including Lending Manager, Account Executive, and Senior Loan Officer. From 2009 to 2015, Jim worked at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where they held the positions of Risk Manager - Origination Credit Risk - VP and Mortgage Banker. Jim also worked as a Loan Officer at Huntington National Bank from 2007 to 2009, and as a Credit Risk Modelling Analyst- Officer at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from 2006 to 2007. Jim's career began at Citi in 2002, where they worked as an Underwriter until 2006.

Jim Horne attended The Ohio State University from 1997 to 2001, earning a Bachelor's degree in Economics. In addition, in December 2013, they obtained several certifications including NMLS 20 SAFE, SAS 40 Hour Cert, and a 4 Hour Ohio Mortgage License from Federal and State institutions.
