Vidya Munirathnam has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. Vidya started their career in 2004 at Texas Instruments, where they held various roles related to compensation and benefits, talent development, and international assignment HR until 2010. Later, they joined Aditi Technologies as a Lead for compensation and benefits. In 2011, they moved to Target, where they progressed through multiple positions, including Senior Human Resources Manager and Director of Human Resources. In 2019, Vidya joined Lowe's India as the Director of Human Resources and subsequently held roles as Director of Learning & Diversity, Senior Director of Human Resources, and currently serves as the Vice President of Human Resources.
Vidya Munirathnam completed the IIMB Advanced Management Programme (AMP) in 2023, specializing in Women Leadership. Vidya also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in HR from Bangalore University and a Master of Business Law (MBL) degree from the National Law School of India University. In addition, they have a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Instrumentation and Electronics from SIT, Tumkur. Vidya also completed their high school education at Vidya Vardhaka Sangha-Bangalore. Vidya obtained the GlobeSmart Profile™ Certification from Aperian Global in August 2021.
